Freckles Galore

Raising kiddos can often make me nostalgic for my own childhood. We spent so much time outside, running around barefoot, playing with our neighbor friends and just being wild and free. That time feels so sweet to me and I want to, as much as possible, create the same thing for my girls.

So far, I think I’ve been doing a pretty good job of it this summer. We’ve had so many warm days, which means lots of pool and play time with friends.

The end of June brought a couple fun milestones for Chloe. Our big girl graduated from pre-school AND turned 5 years old. Looking back on her a year ago, it’s pretty wild how much she has grown!

My big girl!

Chloe has grown so much in a year! She’s learning to read, becoming an even better big sissy, learning how to really thrive in a school environment. And, of course, she continues to blossom even more into such a funny, beautiful little girl.

Clare Bear has also hit some milestones! She is learning to use the big girl potty and loves to sit on it every chance she gets.

Are you kidding me with this kid???

She also started to climb out of her crib, so we had to give that one up and she is in her big girl bed. It’s been a bit of a rollercoaster with everyone being kept up a little later, but she is getting the hang of it. My favorite part of her having this freedom is that she mostly just wants to go get in bed with Chloe and cuddle. I love their sweet relationship.

And that’s really all from us for now! Looking forward to more sun-soaked days filled with fun, friends, and lots of ice cream.
