Chloe has been quite the world traveler lately. We got back from Texas just in time for Easter weekend. I felt Chloe was old enough to do a proper Easter egg hunt, so we tried out the local town hunt. My hopes were not incredibly high, but it was pretty well managed and Chloe was able to get 5 eggs – we’ll call it a win!

Then we headed off to Miami to visit Rob’s best friend Johnny and his family. We were all ready for sunglasses and swimsuits, but unfortunately the Miami weather had other plans. It tropical stormed non-stop the entire time.

So, we opted to explore every indoor activity for children that Miami had to offer!

Chloe was a huge fan of the fishies and sharks. I think we have a Coney Island aquarium visit in our near future!

But we spent most of the time just watching the kiddos play together. Jonny & Jamie’s kiddos – Skylar and Jordy – are the sweetest and they absolutely loved playing with Chloe. We had lots of karaoke, playing with cars, playing pretend, cuddling stuffies, and taking bubble baths together. Even with no sun, we made the best of it!
